Henkel Aerospace and Boeing are committed to providing high performance products that meet the stringent demands of the Aerospace industry. Many of these products have defined temperature requirements during transportation and therefore require dry ice, insulated containers, and/or other specialty packaging items.
Beginning on July 1, 2021 Henkel will require that shipments for LOCTITE® AERO refrigerated products include dry ice packaging and temperature monitors. As a Henkel Authorized Distributor, Boeing is required to follow storage and handling procedures so that product is not exposed to a shipment or storage condition that goes above or below the product’s given temperature range.
Dry ice shipments require a packing and shipping fee to cover the cost of the dry ice, temperature monitor and insulated box. The fee from US to US/Canada is $150 per order and applies to all orders less than $2,000 that are shipped from the Boeing Coppell, Texas warehouse. The fee from US to International locations is $300 per order and applies to all orders less than $2,000 that are shipped from the Boeing Coppell, Texas warehouse. The amount of dry ice supplied is for 3 days. For orders greater than $2,000 or require more than 3 days of transit time, the packaging and shipping fee is to be adjusted according to the weight and amount of dry ice needed.
